Two Nigerians among five of a ‘fraud gang’ held in city

Detectives arrested five alleged members of a fraud gang, including two Nigerians, at New Market in the city on Friday night. The arrestees were Anayo, 29, Esi aka Henry, 29, Md Mainul Kabir, 29, Md Nazim Uddin, 37, and Md Ruhul Amin alias Mithun, 29. Deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Masudur Rahman said tipped off, a team of the Detective Branch conducted a drive in the area and arrested them at night.
