Charge sheet over attack on Khadiza submitted

Police on Tuesday submitted charge sheet against Chhatra League leader of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology unit Badrul Alam for hacking Khadiza Akhter Nargis on October 3. The investigation officer Harunur Rashid also sub-inspector of Shahporan police station submitted the charge sheet with Sylhet Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court this morning. The court set November 15 for hearing of the case, said Sylhet Metropolitan Police south zone additional deputy commissioner Zedan Al Musa.   Badrul hacked Nargis indiscriminately with a machete when she came out of her examination hall at Murari Chand College in Sylhet city on October 3. Later caught by locals, Badrul was given a good beating and handed over to police.
